What si "dorast" actually about?
We meet every Fridayat 16:00 in our community center(Zvonarska 23, Kosice, Slovakia)
....in order to spend some time playing games in a clubroom or park and talking about God. After the official end of the meeting (18:00) young people have opportunity to stay and have a talk with each other or with their leaders or to play table tennis. DON'T WORRY!!!! This is not the end of dorast activities. Everybody has opportunity to take part in one-day trips or camps (usually one week), competitions, other activities, personal meetings, camp attack...
There are aslo some smaller groups which were created to support spiritual growth of our young members. A group of girls takes care of dorast chronicle.
All these activities are led and organised by Team of dorast leaders which means people (boys and girls), usually university students, who prepare games, lectures and are also interrested in making relationships with our younger friends based on mutual trust. Helper leaders are also part of the team. They have almost the same rights, duties and responsibilities as chief leaders.
Finally, it is very important to mention that all these things are done in the name of Jesus Christ and all our effort would make no sense without blessing of almighty God.
